A pivotal figure from the golden age of UK pirate radio, DJ Influence carved his name deep into the foundations of the underground music scene during the 1990s. As a core selector on the legendary Dream 107.6 FM, he became a household name among ravers and radio heads alike, known for his electric energy and an unrivalled ear for upfront jungle and drum and bass.
A regular behind the decks at some of the most iconic raves of the era — Desire, Labyrinth, Slamming Vinyl, and Destiny — DJ Influence took the sound global, representing UK jungle culture at events in Germany, Australia, and beyond. His sets delivered raw, relentless energy, earning him a reputation as an international ambassador of the jungle sound.
After a remarkable run in the 90s, DJ Influence took a step back, embarking on a 20-year hiatus. But legends never fade — they reload. Two decades later, he’s returned to the scene with new fire in his soul and deeper roots in the music than ever before.
Now, as the co-founder of The Vic Radio, alongside fellow veteran Vinyl Seducer, DJ Influence has spent the last two years reinvigorating the airwaves with authentic DnB culture. His resurgence has been met with massive support, as he’s once again tearing up dancefloors with upfront jungle and cutting-edge drum and bass, bridging generations and reminding the scene why his name still commands respect.
From pirate radio royalty to international selector, from silence to storm — DJ Influence is back. And he’s not just here to reminisce. He’s here to raise the levels.

I Started DJ’ing way back around 1990 on basic belt drive turntables with a home-made pitch until I had saved enough to purchase my 1210’s. I got them second hand, one at a time. During my time playing I have been through most of the genres of electronic dance music on vinyl, starting with Hardcore.

Hi I’m Sparki Dee, I’ve been djing and producing for over 20 years, dance music has always been a passion and interest of mine. My djing has taken me all over the UK and also abroad in Turkey and Washington DC in the US. I’m known mostly for playing drum n bass and jungle.

Rolling Deep
Steve Karitzis, also known as DJ S.K.1, is the founder of Rolling Deep.
Two years ago, Steve built a home studio for his son, Subnotik, to provide a safe and creative space where he and his friends could practice mixing, stream live sets, and produce music. Most importantly, it was created as a positive environment to keep young people off the streets and focused on their passion for music.
With nearly 30 years in the scene, Steve has established himself as a multi-genre DJ and promoter. Performing under the name DJ S.K.1, he has played in major clubs across the UK and even held a residency in Barcelona at the renowned super club Penelope’s.
Today, Steve’s mission is to focus on the next generation of DJs. Rolling Deep is dedicated to giving under-18 DJs real opportunities to showcase their skills—not just from their bedrooms, but on stage at established venues. The platform helps them gain experience, perform alongside big-name DJs and MCs, and develop in a safe and supportive environment.
Over a year ago, Steve connected with the Lemz team, who shared the same vision. Together, Rolling Deep and Lemz Studioz are building something special—offering mentoring, lessons, and events that continue to grow in scale and impact.
With exciting plans ahead, 2026 is set to be the biggest year yet.
